Why does one gain face fat?

There are people who gain weight around the face, it doesn’t mean they haven’t reduced baby fat but it shows some clinical or nutritional problem.  

  • It may be because of hormonal imbalance
  • It may be because of water retention
  • Lack of sleep
  • Excess alcohol consumption
  • Overall weight gain
  • Hereditary

Is face fat difficult to get rid off?

Fat reduction is not very difficult but not very easy also.

For good results we need to do certain changes in life style and diet. Generally fat accumulated very fast on face and tummy. When person lose weight in healthy manner in that case person’s face fat also disappears gradually.

What exercises or dietary changes can be done to get rid of face fat?

Pranayama and other cardio exercise are best way to reduce face fat as well as overall body fat.

With proper exercise we need to change our life style for face fat reduction and obtain radiant glow.

  • Must drink 10-12 glasses of water to avoid water retention, which can be main cause of fat face.
  • Reduce intake of salt by avoiding pickles, papad, sauces, and canned food. Excess salt gives you water retention and puffiness. Avoid salt in salads and butter milk also
  • Must consume citrus fruits in diet such as orange, lemon, sweet lime etc to obtain vitamin c. vitamin c increases skin elasticity, which protect you from wrinkles, which generally observed after weight reduction and also protect skin from sun tanning.
  • Include nuts products in diet which give s you not only good quality proteins but also micro nutrients and vitamin E , which is necessary for skin.
  • Eat carrots, beetroot, papaya, and dark green leafy vegetables to obtain vitamin A and good for healthy overall weight reduction.
  • Avoid alcohol
  • Avoid smoking
  • Take enough 7-8 hrs sleep
